We specialise in treating dogs, cat and small pets such as rabbits with therapies including acupuncture, hydrotherapy, laser and physiotherapy treatments. These are management tools which can assist in the  treatment of conditions such as osteoarthritis, recovery from injury or surgery and neurological issues. 

Gatehouse Veterinary Rehabilitation is a custom-designed pet treatment centre handily located in Rouken Glen Park on the south side of Glasgow.

What to expect

Phone, email or drop in to register your pet’s details with us and book your first appointment. Before this visit, we will contact your regular veterinary practice to ask for a patient history for your pet.

Your pet will be carefully examined by our veterinary staff in the welcoming environment of the Gatehouse and then options for the best treatment solution can be discussed.

Every pet patient is different but Gatehouse Veterinary Rehabilitation can offer the widest possible range of treatments for your dog, cat, rabbit or other pet including acupuncture, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and electrotherapy treatment.

Acupuncture is only carried out at the Gatehouse by Cheryl Corral BVMS MRCVS, whose Acupets home service has for many years helped a whole host of pets enjoy improved health and mobility from conditions such as dog or cat arthritis or joint pain

Our Practice

Acupuncture is carried out by one of our veterinary surgeons, and physio and hydrotherapy services by our fully qualified veterinary physiotherapists. Our practice is registered with several membership bodies including the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), The Institute for Registered Veterinary and Animal Physiotherapists (IRVAP), The Institute of Canine Hydrotherapists, The National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP) and The International Association of Animal Therapists (IAAT). These registration bodies ensure the highest standard of care is delivered to our patients, using the most up-to-date researched techniques.
